Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 2) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Ryan Services, LLC for monthly preventative maintenance services on one A.B Dick printing press model #9920, and on one A.B. Dick printing press model #9985, located at the Bath VA Medical Center 76 Veterans Avenue Bath, NY 14810. Ryan Services, LLC is the only vendor identified in the area capable of servicing the two offset printers, located at the Bath VA Medical Center. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by May 16th, 2017 at 12:00 PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Specialist, Richard Amodeo, by email to Richard.Amodeo@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 2 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Ryan Service, LLC.
