Healthcare Claims Adjudication Software Industry Day Note: The Industry Day is being held in reference to a solicitation in its draft form. A formal solicitation is not being issued at this time. In an effort to establish early and meaningful correspondence with industry on the healthcare claims adjudication software, the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Financial Services Center (FSC) and Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) will host an Industry Day on May 22, 2017. The objective of this event is to ensure industry understands the functional and technical requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and remove any ambiguity. The event is scheduled to run from 9:00am CDT to 4:00pm CDT. The event will be held in Austin, TX at the FSC, 7600 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744, in Conference Room 115. Attendees who are unable to attend may call in at 844-825-8490, 844-352-6288, or 844-355-6288; and enter the following Conference ID: 98238606. Minutes from the event will be published to this announcement on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) approximately one week after the event. The agenda for the Information Session is as follows: 8:30am 9:00am Arrival and security screening 9:00am 9:15am Opening Remarks by the FSC Director 9:15am 11:30am Overview of PWS 12:30pm 4:00pm Open Question and Answer Period This announcement serves as formal notification that registration for this event is now open. Interested parties can register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/healthcare-claims-adjudication-software-industry-day-registration-34463036871. The conference room at the FSC can only accommodate 30 participants and we can accommodate 40 participants via the call-in number. There is a maximum of two participants per company and registration is on a first come, first served basis. Once registration reaches 30 on-site participants, potential vendors may only participate by calling in. Participants calling in will receive Microsoft Lync sign-on instructions via Eventbrite prior to the event. Participants attending in Austin need to provide the follow information no later than May 18, 2017: First and Last Name Company Name Company e-mail address Driver s License Number, State, and Expiration Date Date of Birth Whether you are bringing a laptop or not VA will publish a draft PWS and slide deck for the event to FBO no later than May 15, 2017. VA requests that interested parties review the documentation and submit questions and comments to Robert Kately (robert.kately@va.gov) and Lauren Sankar (Lauren.Sankar@va,gov) no later than May 18, 2017.
