- Pre-Proposal Conference Letter The General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, Contract Operations Branch, 1PQB intends to issue a Request for Proposal for Commercial Items Procurement for Custodial and Operations and Maintenance combined Services for 15 Land Ports of Entries located throughout Maine listed below. This will be a performance based service contract utilizing commercial item procedures to provide mechanical maintenance services, janitorial services; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance services, grounds keeping, snow removal, pest control, solid waste removal, recycling, and minor repairs. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The primary NAICS code is 561210, Facilities Support Services with a size standard of $38.5 Million. The government anticipates a multiple award of firm-fixed-price contracts to be solicited and awarded on a competitive basis in accordance with FAR part 13. The anticipated period of performance is a twelve month base period of November 1, 2017 through October 31, 2018, plus four (4) twelve month option periods, for a total of 60 months (5 years) A DRAFT Solicitation will be posted on or about 03/15/2017. A pre-solicitation conference will be held on 03/30/2017 at 10:00AM at the Muskie Federal Building, 40 Western Ave, Augusta, ME 04330. A Virtual Pre-proposal conference is scheduled for May 18, 2017 11:00AM. The Solicitation will be posted on 05/12/2017. Proposal Due Date is anticipated on or about 06/08/2017. Award is anticipated on or about 09/01/2017 with services starting on 11/01/2017. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only (www.fedbizopps.gov).
