Rehab and Guardrail See 452.237-71 for Pre-Proposal Conference Information The Pike National Forest, South Park Ranger district has a requirement for Eleven Mile Bridge 96.6.2. Rehab and Guardrail. This project consists of bridge rehab and guardrail replacement for the road bridge located at Mile Post 6.2 on NFSR 96 in Eleven Mile Canyon. Work consists of removing trees, clearing and grubbing, establishing traffic control and erosion control, removing existing guardrail, removing excess shoulder material, replacing existing bridge bearing pads, constructing embankment for approach rail, placing remaining excess fill at location designated by the CO, installing the approach rails and strengthening all existing bridge rail posts, removing rust, cleaning, and painting existing bridge rail, and removing and disposing of existing guardrail. This will be firm fixed priced contract. Location: the Pike National Forest, South Park Ranger District in Park County The bridge (#96.6.2) is located on the Pike National Forest, South Park Ranger District in Park County approximately 1 mile southwest of Lake George, Colorado at Mile Post 6.2 on Forest Road 96 within Eleven Mile Canyon. T13S, R72W, SW corner of Section 10. From Lake George, Colorado travel south 0.9 miles on County Rd 96. Veer right at the Y intersection to remain on NFSR 96 and enter Eleven Mile Canyon. Proceed Southwest on NFSR 96 (past the Eleven Mile Canyon entrance fee station) 6.2 miles to the third bridge, which is bridge #96.6.2. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit is anticipated. All information will posted in the solicitation. All solicitation documents will be posted to this website approximately 08 May 2017. Proposals are estimated to be due 24 days after issue of solicitation (actual due date will be listed in the solicitation). This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/proposal preparation costs.
