- Technical Specifications Request for Quote SUMMARY: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, 01/19/2017. This announcement is also being solicited through a mandatory Department of Homeland Security Strategic Source Vehicle; however, if open market pricing is less, an exception permits award to an open market source. REQUIREMENT: Desktops and Servers in accordance with the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) WX02221Y2017T and Technical Specifications. (Note, desktops may be micro desktops; servers may be rack mounted.) SET-ASIDE: This is a Small Business set-aside (Total) and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The applicable NAICS code is 334118 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employee. BASIS OF AWARD: Offerors shall submit a firm fixed-price quote to include all costs associated with the requirement, to include shipping charges. One award will be made as a result of this RFQ. Award will be made to the lowest price offeror meeting the technical specifications contained herein. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. The Clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (NOTE: all referenced FAR provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm.) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement States or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR provisions and clauses apply: 52.203-18, 52.204-7, 52.204-10, 52.204-16, 52.211-6, 52.212-1, 52.233-2. DUE DATE: Responses to this solicitation are due no later than 4:00 PM EST, May 12, 2017 to Ms. Andrea Greene at e-mail address andrea.greene@fema.dhs.gov. Any responses received after the due date and time will not be considered for award.
