- Magnitude of Work: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contract Duration: 270 calendar days. Invitation for Bid (IFB): Will be issued on or about 01 June 2017. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for the construction of 42 new relief wells to include drilling, installation and testing of new relief wells and related equipment; drilling and sampling of 42 pilot holes and performing laboratory soil sieve tests; constructing new collector ditches to convey the well discharge flows; constructing well benches; modifying existing ditches; proper placement of excess material in the excavated material disposal areas; establishment of turf; and environmental protection. The project limits are from levee baseline Station 2/41+00 to 5/0+00 as shown on the plans. Site Visits: Two site visits will be scheduled. June 15 and 22, 2017 at 10 Am (CST). Prospective bidders must notify the Caruthersville Area Office of their plans to attend and to obtain site location: Mr. STEVE SHANKLE, Area Engineer 706 Harry S. Truman Boulevard Caruthersville, Missouri 63830-1268 TELEPHONE: (573) 333-1043 The resulting contract award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract. The Solicitation Number will be W912EQ-17-B-0003. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
