- FBO POST - PRE-SOLICITATION HSCGG1-17-Q-PFA017 ISSUED DATE: 24 MAY 2017 The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to remove and replace the damaged and delaminating plywood fascia panels and wood trim boards with closed cell PVC panels and trim boards. To accomplish this work, the following work will be required: Remove all existing wood panels and trim boards and install new PVC trim. Fasten new PVC with stainless steel screws. Remove and replace the existing wall flashing with lead coated copper flashing and copper fasteners. Install new asphalt saturated building paper and pressure treaded wood furring strips. Replace one damaged rail cap and two missing wood trim corner post pieces with new PVC trim. Prep, prime and paint the entire balustrade railing assembly. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 24 May 2017. Tentative date for receipt of quotes is 23 June 2017. Period of Performance: Award is anticipated to be made in early July 2017. The overall period of performance is eight (8) weeks after Notice to Proceed - With four (4) weeks to complete onsite work. The applicable North American Industry Classification systems (NAICS) code is 238170 Siding Contractors with a small business size standard of 15 million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment bond will be required for award over $35,000. The acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 13. Pursuant to FAR Part 19.5 set aside for Small Business, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. Our office no longer issues solicitation or amendments in paper form.
