- 1. SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MINI-DIFF 3D (BRAND NAME ONLY) A. INTRODUCTION 1. This is a Sources Sought synopsis being conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. This is for planning purposes only and there is no solicitation available at this time. 2. This is an initial step in the planning process for the delivery of a Mini-Diff 3D. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. 3. The 377 MSG/PKB at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, seeks potential sources To provide one (1) brand name only to Mini-Diff 3D (Hemispheric) Scatterometer and accessories as listed below in paragraph D. to include FOB-Destination shipping to Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. 4. Delivery Date: Preferred 30 Day After Receipt of Offer (ARO). 5. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. B. INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS: 1. All businesses capable of providing this product are invited to respond. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary and the Government will not pay for any information submitted. Respondents are requested to submit capability packages electronically, as described below. a. Requested information listed below must be received no later than 1100 hours (Mountain Standard Time) on 16 May 2017. b. SALINE CHARATERISTIC: Manufacturer: Westboro Photonics CLIN 0001 - Part Number: Mini-Diff QUANTITY: 1 Each Mini-Diff 3D (Hemispheric) Scatterometer Handheld optical system for scattering measurements, including: - Handheld Mini-Diff - 4 Incident light beam (0°, 20°, 40°, 60°) at 630nm, lighting reflective materials on a flat surface with a 1mm diameter spot size. These 4 beams are automatically selected. - Imaging collection and lenses - One 12-bit camera providing the image of the 3D scattered light - One USB connector (between Mini-Diff and the computer), used to power the camera and the LED's, and to transfer data to the computer. - One calibration set including a black target and a lambertian target. - Mini-Diff software, compatible with Windows 7 to capture data, save calibration and process data to text format. - Exportation tools available to ASTM, BSDF, Mesh, Slice, Gaussian / Lambertian fit, ABg format CLIN0002 - Part Number: Mini-Diff Option QUANTITY: 1 Each Optional Transmissive Diffuser Includes: - Transmission support including one collimated source at 630nm. - One calibration set including one calibrated diffuser - One battery Shipping and Handling is FOB: Destination to Kirtland AFB, NM 87117
