- Equipment List Document The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Joint Armaments Center (ACC-NJ-JA) has a requirement to purchase maintenance services for Perkin Elmer analytical equipment located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. The period of performance for the proposed contract action is one (1) base year with four (4) additional option years for a total of five (5) years. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Perkin Elmer Health Sciences Incorporated, 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT. The authority being utilized for this action is Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41. U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.5. The sole source is based on the proprietary nature of the required parts, and software needed in order to provide maintenance services on the Perkin Elmer analytical equipment. See attached Equipment List document which references the analytical equipment that requires maintenance services. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested sources may submit a capabilities statement which will be considered by the Government no later than the closing date of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
