- This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground MD 21005. Specifications: "20mm Powder Breech System" (1) 20mm Custom Oversized Breech (1) Breech Plug (1) Firing Pin Cap (1) Firing Solenoid (1) 2 Leg Base (2) Barrel Clamp Set (1) 20mm Smoothbore Barrel - 6 Foot Long (1) 20mm Rifled Barrel - 6 Foot Long (1) 50cal Smoothbore Barrel - 6 Foot Long (1) 50cal Rifled Barrel - 6 Foot Long The Government intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to New Lennox Company. The Associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332994 and the Business Size Standard is 1000. All responses received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 12:00PM Eastern Time, Tuesday May 5, 2017. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
