- RFQ Notice of Intent to Sole Source posted on 22 March 2017 FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) soliciting from a single source. General Electric Healthcare is the only qualified source available to diagnose and repair one (1) General Electric Radiographic/Fluoroscopic, Angiography/Interventional System; five (5) General Electric Optima AMX 220 Mobile X-Ray Systems; two (2) General Electric Radiographic/Fluoroscopic Mobile Units (C-arm); one (1) General Electric Radiographic XR 656 System (Room 4); and one (1) General Electric Radiographic XR 656 System (Room 1). Only General Electric Healthcare is capable of providing the replacement parts and certified technician capable of repairing this equipment and bringing each unit (system) to a fully functional condition. General Electric Healthcare is the only manufacturer and reseller of their proprietary parts for the repair of equipment manufactured by General Electric Healthcare. As a result, General Electric Healthcare was the only vendor solicited and the only vendor to provide quotes.
