- Sources Sought Announcement The Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is seeking potential sources under the proposed NAICS Code 811219 (Measuring instrument repair and maintenance services) who have the capability to provide the following requirements: Preventive Maintenance & Repair to include technical support service to air monitoring instrumentation MINICAMS manufactured by OI Analytical CMS Field Products of Pelham, Alabama. a. MINICAMS b. CHROM-LINK systems OI Analytical CMS Field is the manufacturer, has proprietary rights and is the sole distributor of the above equipment. Contractor must be able to acquire OEM replacement parts, operating software for updates, engineering upgrades and license to perform maintenance and repair from the manufacturer. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 811219. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a RFQ may be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. Interested sources may submit their capabilities and qualifications via email to: Rex M, Valdez @ rex.m.valdez2.civ@mail.mil on or before 18 May 2017 @ 4:00PM EST with the following information: 1. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified propriety information of the submission of the contractor's information.
