Source Sought Notification The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central is issuing this Sources Sought Notice on behalf of San Antonio Military Medical Center, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Any responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used for planning purposes only. Based on the responses to this notice, the requirement may be set-aside for small businesses, procured through full-and-open competition, or result in a sole-source contract. This notice is not a solicitation of offers, nor is it a notice to proceed. The San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) Cardiovascular Procedures Services have a requirement for Biosense Webster catheters which are compatible with the CARTO3 System and Software currently owned by BAMC, Cardiovascular Procedures Service, at San Antonio Military Medical Center Main Cardiovascular Department (on JBSA - Fort Sam Houston) 1) Organization name, address, e-mail address, Web site address, telephone number, and size (small versus large business, and any other socio-economic categories) and type of ownership for the organization; 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the salient characteristics listed, with appropriate documentation supporting capability. a. The catheters must interface directly with the existing Biosense Webster CARTO3 System b. The catheters must allow the operator to perform fast anatomical mapping (FAM) and allow for instantaneous catheter localization with accuracy of +/- 1mm. All catheters manufactured by Biosense Webster are proprietarily manufactured for compatibility and use with the CARTO3 System for diagnostic, ultrasound, and therapeutic purposes. c. The catheters must be sensor based and allow for fast anatomical map development with map activation and voltage data collection. d. These catheters are regular expendable proprietary items which are fundamentally designed to interface via direct connection with the Biosense Webster CARTO3 System Patient Interface Unit (PIU). e. The inherent design of the Multi electrode mapping catheters must be linked to CARTO MEM proprietary software of the CARTO3 system, which allows for the simultaneous acquisition of up to 20 highly accurate activation points (point-to-point map) for maximized speed, accuracy and efficiency in mapping complex atrial and ventricular circuits. f. The Soundstar ultrasound catheters must provide the ability to visualize and mark cardiac anatomy through the CARTO3 System and afford the ability to visualize the tip of the ablation catheter via the ultrasound image using the tip to tissue overlay feature. g. The ablation catheters must be capable of a direct interface with the CARTO SmartTouch Catheter ablation System and able to receive continuous peristaltic pumping heparinized irrigation solution, and variable power delivery in conjunction with this proprietary system. h. The SmartTouch Catheters must provide force contact parameters and visitag integration with the CARTO3 System reflecting real time force contact information and ablation characteristics that better inform the physician's ablation strategy and delivery of lesion set which are designed for use with the CARTO3 System and SmartAblate Generator System. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to provide the above listed catheters are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 12:00 p.m. CST, May 19 2017.
