- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N6817117Q0005 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) from NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) for three Steam Sterilizers. This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222. This procurement is for full and open competition; the NAICS code is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001 Description, Quantity, and Unit: Medium Steam Sterilizer, Two (2) in accordance with the Statement of Work. Dates and Delivery: 60 days after contract award with delivery and acceptance at US Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy, FOB Destination. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0002 Description, Quantity, and Unit: Small Steam Sterilizer, One (1) in accordance with the Statement of Work. Dates and Delivery: 60 days after contract award with delivery and acceptance at US Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy, FOB Destination. The attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation contains: the full description of the items to be acquired and the statement of work; all the applicable provisions and clauses, including FAR 52.212-1 and its addendum, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5; the applicable representations and certifications to be included with proposals, including FAR 52.212-3; and the procedures to be used to evaluate the proposals. This combined synopsis/solicitation will close with quotes due at 10:00AM Central European Time on 19 June 2017. Questions may be submitted at any day and time, but not later than 10:00AM Central European Time on 23 May 2017. Questions submitted after this date and time may not be accepted. Since the submittal of questions may result in amendments to the RFQ, it is imperative that questions be submitted as soon as possible.
