Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for office relocation services. The contractor shall perform all of the services required to remove office furniture, equipment, excess material, and related supplies from it ™s present location, transport the property to the designated areas within the new location and place them at the new location. The contractor shall furnish laborers, trucks and furniture moving equipment (e.g. four wheelers, carts, etc.) to accomplish the work described in the draft Statement of Work (attached); e.g. excess property pick up, furniture installation/reconfiguration, moving activities, special event activities, furniture cleaning, furniture repair, specialized moving activities and special handling moving activities. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery/Requirements type contract that will include option provisions to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. It is anticipated that the contract will include time-and-material pricing arrangements, and include the following skill categories: (a) Material Handling Laborer, (b) Working Supervisor, (c) Truck driver, Medium Truck, (d) Truck driver, Heavy Truck, and (f) Furniture Installer. Wage rates for the resultant contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act Wage Determination, WD 97-0056 Rev 28, dated December 29, 2015. This market survey is to request information that will enable the FAA to make a screening decision to determine qualified firms that have the ability to provide these services. The FAA reserves the right to add incumbent contractors and/or other sources which meet the criteria and have performed satisfactorily on previous procurements. Responses are solicited only from small business concerns. (1) To be considered the contractor must be classified as a small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 484210 “ $25.5 million. Vendors must be in the System for Award Management and listed as the type of business (Small, 8a, Woman Owned SDVOSB, etc) as claimed in the response to the market survey. All interested sources must submit their qualifications and business type in writing via the e-mail (Brandon.hillyer@faa.gov) by 5:00 p.m. CST, May 15th, 2017. All inquiries regarding the market survey should be directed to the Contracting Specialist, Brandon Hillyer in writing via e-mail. The FAA intends to review all responses to this market survey to establish the acquisition strategy. This market survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the FAA will arise as a result of submission of responses to this market survey and the FAA ™s use of such information. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
