- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Mechanicsburg is intends to solicit for supplies including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for long term, 5 year Requirements Contract for the support of the AEGIS Switch Tubes; this will cover 2 repair items: 7HH 5960 013076691 and 7HH 5960 013926982, P/N Y633C and 6155763. The government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required.
