- Complete parts requirements. 1. Description: Brand Name, Replacement Parts for 20X20 LHD-42, Type CH 13-3/8, 3ME, Georgia Iron Works Pump. 2. GENERAL: The purpose of this sources sought is to gather information regarding vendors' capability of providing replacement parts and components for the Georgia Iron Works (GIW) LHD 42 pump used on the dredge YAQUINA by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland district. USACE uses The LHD 42 pump as a slurry pump on the dredge, but the pump is primarily used for mining operations. This sources sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the USACE is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought; all costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to the sources sought does not preclude participation in any future request for quote (RFQ), if one is issued. If an RFQ is issued at a later date, it will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Please refer to the attached PWS/Description document for further information.
