Description

This Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the Indian Health Service. The purpose of this RFI is to help the IHS understand the industry best practices and technical solutions capable of providing the full range of requirements described in this RFI. IHS will use this market research information to assess the market's capability to successfully meet the IHS's Fellowship positions. A fellowship is the period of medical training in the United States and Canada that a physician or dentist may undertake after completing a specialty training program (residency). During this time (usually more than one year), the physician is known as a fellow. Fellows are capable of acting as attending physician or consultant physician in the generalist field in which they were trained. Fellowships shall be accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education ('ACGME').
