Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA has a requirement for project 338 Ward 9 Vestibule Doors. This project consists of, but not limited to providing all professional architectural/engineering services and construction including labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, certifications by third party vendors, reports and training required for to install new vestibule doors on Ward 9, Bldg.1 (9West) of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711.. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 103 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work on this project shall be accomplished between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm shall be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: www.sam.gov and www.vetbiz.gov. Offerors shall ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within a week after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) on or about May 11th 2017.
