- This announcement constitutes a synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm-fixed IDIQ priced contract with a 5 year ordering period. The proposed performance is 1 Oct 2017 to 30 Sept 2022. The contractor shall provide all management and labor necessary to perform Habitat Restoration services for MacDill AFB, Florida in accordance with standards established by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), the United States Air Force (USAF), the Air Mobility Command (AMC), MacDill AFB and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall be responsible for the following major tasks: herbicide applications, mechanical clearing, prescribed burning, native vegetation plantings, and other miscellaneous activities designed to control invasive plant species, restore native vegetation, maintain base coastal areas, and improve ecosystem function and value on MacDill AFB (see PWS). The government reserves the right to award to a contract to other than the lowest price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730. The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in best value to the Government. Anticipate award by 1 Oct 2017 with an anticipated start date of 1 Oct 2017.
