Each task order will be Firm-Fixed-Price and based on application of the successful offeror's coefficient to then-current R. S. Means Facilities Construction Composite Data. This requirement will include furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all work and all operations required to do a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction work on real property at Eglin AFB and its associated sites in Florida. The contractor shall be required to maintain a management/project office on Eglin AFB, FL to receive task orders and provide other management services related to accomplishing individual projects. Individual jobs will vary in size ranging from $2,000 to $1,000,000. The estimated number of task orders issued per year will range from approximately 60 to 90. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades, such as site work, excavation, demolition, concrete, masonry, structural framing, welding, carpentry, roofing, interior and exterior electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, thermal protection, painting, fire suppression and alarm systems, security systems, paving and road repair. The above general description of work does not in any way limit responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and material in accordance with the specifications. The performance period shall be negotiated on individual task orders. The guaranteed minimum amount for the basic contract period is $1,000 and the maximum contract amount is $46,000,000, including all options, if exercised. This acquisition will be set aside for competition under the 8(a) Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures. The performance period for the contract is one (1) 12-month base year, and four (4) 12-month option periods. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
