Specification Drawing Page 2 Specification Drawing Page 1 AG-046W-S-17-0050 RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant award will be a Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order. Solicitation number AG-046W-S-17-0050 is being issued by the Mt Hood National Forest as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 331110 and small business size standard of 1000 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. Pricing for the Steel Width Limiter Gates shall be price per gate, delivery and offloading of the Steel Width Limiter Gates. Responses to this solicitation must include the pricing and past performance history as stated under the Statement of Work. Statement of Work The Forest Service, Enterprise Trails Unlimited Group is requesting Quotes for Fabrication, delivery and offloading of approximately 35 Steel Width Limiter Gates. These gates shall be used in Trail Construction on the Front County Ranger District of the San Bernadino National Forest. The gates are to be constructed with Corten Steel and schedule 40 pipe and will be ~13 ft. ½ inch wide by ~4 ft. 9 inches high with a 55 inch opening. Please see attached drawings for exact specifications. Steel Gate fabricators shall provide a past performance history, showing at least three (3) recent projects that follow the attached drawings according to the specifications of each gate. Each project shall include a narrative that discusses the following: references, experience and material performance in the field. Manufacturer shall indicate a minimum of three (3) years' experience with designing and fabricating Steel Width Limiter Gates. The contractor shall provide the necessary equipment and personnel to deliver and offload all Steel Width Limiter Gates once they arrive at the proposed delivery location. Specifications The Steel Width Limiter Gates shall conform to the following specifications: A.Drawings attached REC 40-01 with the Width Limiter Gate being 55" wide. Option 2 Design Requirements Refer to the drawings for details on design, dimensions and general details. The gates shall be designed and fabricated to the dimensions provided in the drawings provided with this statement of work. Except that the width opening shall be 55 inches instead of 30 inches. Any recommended deviations to the drawings shall be requested to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to actually designing and implementing the change. Delivery Location The delivery location shall be US Forest Service Mormon Rocks Fire Station 7601 HWY 138 Phelan, CA 92371. The Gates shall be offloaded by the Contractor at time of delivery. Start Date and Delivery Date The start date will be after acceptance of the Purchase Order. The Contractor shall have the Gates fabricated and delivered by August 1, 2017.
