- Description
- RFQ Combined Synopsis SPECIFICATIONS For CYCLONE L-1000 FORCESPINNING INSTRUMENT Cyclone L-1000 is a Lab-Scale fiber processing machine that uses melts and/or solutions to spin non-woven fibers. The fibers can have diameters as small as 200 nm to micron size diameters with lengths as long as 6 feet, unlike other nano fiber machines that produce short fibers < 6". The Cyclone L-1000 is designed to enable research and development and it is specifically designed to be used in a laboratory. The spinneret can go as high as 20,000 RPM, has a melt temperatures up to 450° C. The Cyclone L-1000 series is also preferred because there is are not any dielectric requirements, as in electro-spinning, the Cyclone L-1000 can therefore be used to fabricate a variety of fiber materials such as organic polymers, inorganic polymers, metals and conductive polymers can all be processed. Specifications: Dimensions: 940 mm W x 699 mm D x 1003 mm T (37" W x 27.5" D x 39.5" T) Power: 220 -240V Current: 15A Frequency: 50/60 Hz Internal Electrical: Cyclone Control/Spindle Drive Voltage - 110 VAC Ventilation: HEPA Filter with 6" exhaust coupling and one exhaust system fan Functional Operating Environment: +5 °C and 40 °C (+41 °F to +104°F), 80% RH Operating Temperature Range: Ambient to 450° C Maximum Heat Output: 450° C (842° F) Sound Power Level: <85 dbm with 22" collector plate; < 65dbm with 16" collector plate Spinneret Guarding: Two (2) locking doors on self-contained protective chamber Spindle Drive Speed: RPM between 1,000 and 20,000 +/- 100 RPM
