Description

The purpose of Amendment A00002 is to provide responses to contractor questions. Questions: 1. How many Filters are in each Ante Room (, Non-Hazardous Room and Hazardous Room? Response: There are 3 of each type of room and 3 filters per ante room (3 ante rooms) and 5 filters per haz (IV chemo) room (3 haz rooms) and 5 filters per nonhaz room (3 nonhaz rooms). Does Environmental Monitoring (Viable Testing) need to be included?   Response: Viable testing does not need to be included.  This testing is included under another contract.   For Hazardous Areas USP 800, is Hazardous Chemical Swab sampling needed?   Response: Not at this time 4.           What is #12, ACI on the price list?   Should this be a containment aseptic isolator (CAI)?   Can you please supply make, model and serial number of this unit? Response: Aseptic Containment Room. The Boston VA does not currently have the ACI Unit, however, pricing is requested in anticipation of adding the units. An addition of the ACI Units would be added as a bilateral modification to the contract. 5.           I need the room dimensions (including ceiling height) and HEPA filters for each room requiring certification. Response: See Attachment B containing the floorplans for the cleanrooms. All 3 campuses are designed the same way; 3 in each ante room and 5 in each IV room (ISO 7). There are 8 total in each suite x 2 suites for each campus (hazardous and non-haz) for a total of 16 x 3= 48. 6.       Are the mag gauges in the cleanroom digital gauges or analog gauges? Response: Boston has a combination of digital and analog gauges the rooms have digital monitors and PEC (aka BSC) have analog gauges. 7. Could you please provide the incumbent contract number? If not, is this a new requirement? Response: VA241-12-C-0077
