- Limited Source Justification The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has awarded a sole source firm fixed price contract with options to Johnson Controls, Inc. The awarded contract is for security systems maintenance and repair services. In accordance with FAR 8.405-6, only one source is capable of providing services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique. Johnson Controls, Inc. is the sole vendor capable of maintaining the Pegasys System. The coding for their Pegasys system is proprietary in nature. A sole source justification has been attached as part of this posting in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2). This is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
