- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS SOLE SOURCE - Range and Training Area Management Support Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) located at Quantico, VA intends to award a sole source modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Unacceptable Delays in Fulfilling the Agency's Requirement, on or about 26 May 2017 to Corps Solutions LLC (CAGE: 5G8H1, DUNS: 830537317) in support of providing Range and Training Area Management (RTAM) support to Marine Corps Training and Education Command (TECOM). The period of performance for the modification will be a six month base and three one month options, for a total of nine months if all options are exercised. The award of a follow on contract is anticipated in October 2017; therefore the exercise of the option periods are not anticipated. The follow-on contract will be competitively solicited to small businesses with a period of performance of five years. This sole source modification will allow Corps Solutions to continue uninterrupted RTAM and program management support to TECOM in order to support various Marine Corps Range Control Facilities (RCFs) both CONUS and OCONUS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541330 with the size standard of $38.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; no solicitation is forthcoming. The determination not to compete this contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
