- Description
- AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to issue a solicitation at some future date for the purchase of a User Transfer Radiometer (UXR) Telescope System with Spare Mirrors. This will be solicited as full and open competition. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract with a phase 1 and phase 2 of the project through 30 September 2018. The contract will be completed in phases with phase 1 initiated in FY17, and phase 2 to begin after completion of phase 1 sometime in FY18. There is no guarantee that the option year will be exercised. The requirement is for a UXR Telescope System with Spare Mirrors in accordance with the Statement of Work. The pre-solicitation number is FA2263-17-R-0002 and shall be referenced on all correspondence submitted. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice.
