- Sole Source Synopsis Award a Sole Source Contract to Kova Corp. FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, to Kova Corp. The Justification and Approval is attached. The applicable NAICS code is 811213. This notice closes on Monday, May 12, 2017 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract is for the Emergency Phone Line Voice Recording System. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) West Point Department of Emergency Services (DES) intends to award sole source, firm fixed price contract to Kova Corp 102 East Bay Ave Suite J Manahawkin, NJ 08050. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811213 (Broadcast Equipment Repair & Services) with the associated size standard of $11.0 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, questions should be addressed to Purchasing Agent, Mr. Ignacio J.
