- Audio Visual (AV) Equipment, Installation, and Integration The Department of State (DOS), Diplomatic Security (DS), Chief Technology Office (CTO) requires audio visual (AV) equipment, installation, and integration for support on behalf of DS/CTO. This will be in support of the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC). FASTC will be used to train law enforcement, security, and foreign affairs employees headed into high-threat areas of the world by exposing them to real-world training scenarios employing gunfire and explosions in a safe, controlled environment. The DOS procurement will provide audio visual systems design, installation and configuration for the FASTC. The design and installation shall include Phase 1 Camera, Phase 1 Record, and an optional CLIN for Phase 1 Record along the entire campus. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested partys expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be based on determination of the best contract vehicle to use for procurement. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
