- Updated SOI Road 17N41 Amendment 004 **************************************************** AMENDMENT 4 PROVIDES AND UPDATED SCHEDULE OF ITEMS FOR ROAD 17N41 CLOSING DATE REMAINS TO BE MAY 17, 2017, 1300 PT **************************************************** **************************************************** AMENDMENT 3 EXTENDS THE CLOSING DATE TO MAY 17, 2017, 1300 PT IT ALSO PROVIDES AN UPDATED SCHEDULE OF ITEMS FOR ROAD 17N39 **************************************************** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 12, 2017. Posting date may depend on accessibility of site conditions. Description: The purpose for this construction contract is to secure services to stormproof National Forest system roads in the Crags, Coon, Gordon, Hurdygurdy, Jones, Quartz, upper South Fork Smith, and Little Jones watersheds. The primary work items include replacing culverts, installing drivable dips, and road reconditioning. The Schedule of Items and the General Notes/Road Logs contain the full listing of included work. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any incidentals necessary to accomplish work on the Smith River National Recreation Area of the Six Rivers National Forest. Location/Access : All roads in the project area are located on the Smith River National Recreation Area of the Six Rivers National Forest. The Project Roads are located southwest of Gasquet. Gasquet is located approximately 18 miles east of Crescent City, California on State Highway 199. Project Roads can be accessed from State Highway 199, Del Norte County Roads 411, 427, and 405. See the project map for access routes to the roads. Price Range: $250,000 - $500,000 Contract Time : 75 Calendar Days Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2017. Set-Aside : This project is 100% set aside for Total Small Business. Bonds: A Bid guarantee is required with the offer. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation.
