- The Grand Junction VA Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO intends to release Solicitation VA259-17-R-0509 to install bulletproof glass. The Grand Junction VA Medical Center requires construction services from a firm to furnish all labor and materials to install bulletproof glass to the pharmacy and Police headquarters, in accordance with all applicable specifications and drawings. Project will be performed in accordance with all the contract terms, conditions, provisions and requirements. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov) on or shortly after May 11, 2017. The purpose of this requirement is to install bulletproof glass in the pharmacy and Police headquarters. This full solicitation will be 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Industrial Building Construction, size standard $36.5 Million. This requirement is for the Grand Junction VA Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO. Costs are firm fixed priced and scheduling has enough notification time to allow for the contractor to provide the service. All offerors must be registered in SAMS data base, see https://www.sam.gov and complete online Reps and Certs at http://www.sam.gov. Additionally, successful offeror must be a registered SDVOSB in VetBiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at this website only.
