- Sources Sought Questionaire UPSTATE NY MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE GSA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. I NFORMATION IS PROVIDED ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT COSTS OR CHARGES INCLUDING POSTAGE AND SHIPPING WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF THE SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service, Upstate Acquisition Management Division, Region 2, 100 S. Clinton Street, Syracuse, NY is currently seeking Small Businesses who believe they are capable of providing Operations and Mechanical Maintenance Services at the following three buildings: James M. Hanley Federal Building 100 S. Clinton Street, Syracuse, NY, Alexander Pirnie Federal Building 10 Broad Street, Utica, NY; and the Binghamton Federal Building 15 Henry Street, Binghamton NY. The intended contract will be a performance based contract where the success of the contract depends on the satisfaction of the requirements and the satisfaction of our shared customers (tenants). The period of performance is for one base year and four one-year option periods. The NAICS Code for this project is 561210 and the Small Business (SBA) size standard is $38.5 million in annual receipts averaged over the latest three completed fiscal years. The contractor is expected to ensure the safety of the building mechanical operations and to maintain the building assets. The general nature and intent of the work to be performed will include but is not limited to labor, materials, equipment, management, and supplies for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and repair of the following equipment and systems: electrical systems and equipment; Mechanical, plumbing, Building Automation System (BAS); Fire protection and life safety systems and equipment; Architectural and structural systems, fixtures, and equipment within the site (to the property line); Maintenance of landscape irrigation systems; locks, keycard systems, dock levelers and roll-up and sliding garage doors; and storm drainage systems. The Contractor shall maintain all fixed equipment and systems. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
