- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned, and Small Business contractors for the following proposed work Description of Work: Maintenance dredging under this contract will be performed at various locations within the boundaries of the Chesapeake City Anchorage Basin. Dredging will be required to a depth of 10 feet below mean lower low water (MLLW) plus one-foot allowable over depth, with no side slopes delineated and/or paid for along all channel edges (box cut). The total estimated dredged material quantity for this contract is 78,049 CY. Dredging shall not be performed any distance outside of the authorized basin under this contract. The Government-furnished disposal area available for use under this contract is Bethel Disposal Area. An Award for the Contract is anticipated for August 2017. Estimated cost range of the project is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for 100% of contract award. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 and the small business size standard is $27.5 Million.
