- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is issuing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HSTS04-17-R-BAA001 for Innovative Demonstrations for Enterprise Advancement (IDEA) for transportation security. TSA is opening the following window for receiving questions and white papers from vendors: Questions: TSA will accept questions from vendors until July 2, 2017 at 3PM EST. White Papers: TSA will accept white papers from vendors until July 15, 2017 at 3PM EST. All questions and white papers must be submitted in accordance with Section VI of the BAA. Should TSA open subsequent windows for questions and white papers, an announcement will be posted on FedBizOpps. Please see the four attached BAA documents for details. TSA may utilize Section 880 Pilot Programs for Authority to Acquire Innovative Commercial Items Using General Solicitation Competitive Procedures. This announcement will be updated with forthcoming details regarding the upcoming Innovation Day to be scheduled in early June.
