The gate tower rises about 240 feet above the water level in the lake. The tower is accessible via a one lane vehicular bridge at the 210 foot level. There is a platform surrounding the tower at this same level. The exterior concrete repairs are in the 30 foot section between the platform and the roof and the work will require scaffolding and safety harnesses.
