Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Title: Sources Sought notice for Dry & Store Hearing Aid Dehumidifiers manufactured by Ear Technology Corporation in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs Hearing Aid Program. The DALC is seeking to determine if there are available Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources to supply Dry & Store Hearing Aid Dehumidifiers for Veterans who have been issued hearing aids from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Requirements Summary: The DALC provides several types of hearing aid dehumidifiers to Veterans in support of the VA Hearing Aid Program. All Veterans who have received hearing aids from the Department of Veterans Affairs are eligible to receive hearing aid dehumidifiers and accessories from the DALC to help maintain and preserve their hearing aids. Dehumidifiers remove moisture from hearing aids, which is essential to keep them functioning properly. The DALC provides the specific brands of hearing aid dehumidifiers that have been determined by the Integrated Process Team (IPT) to be in the best interest of the Veteran for maintaining the functionality of their hearing aids. These specific hearing aid dehumidifiers and accessories are listed in the DALC catalog. Veterans prefer these products and rely on their availability. Dry & Store Dehumidifiers are among those products. The Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center (DALC) is requesting responses from qualified SDVOSB and VOSB business concerns; the qualifying NAICS code for this effort is 339112 "Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing". The broad requirements listed below should be reviewed in order to accurately respond to this notice. Preliminary Review of Product Information: Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this notice, a request for proposals may be issued to the government wide point of entry (www.fbo.gov). Responses to this synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any corresponding solicitation announcement. All responses to this RFI shall include the following data: Provide product information including product specifications for the following items: Hearing Aid Dehumidifier Dry & Store Dry Dome, Ear Technology Corporation Hearing Aid Dehumidifier Dry & Store Dry Caddy, Ear Technology Corporation Hearing Aid Dehumidifier Dry & Store Global II, Ear Technology Corporation Hearing Aid Dehumidifier Dry & Store Zephyr, Ear Technology Corporation Hearing Aid Dehumidifier Accessory Dry & Store Dry-Brik II, Ear Technology Corporation Corporate contact information. Indicate if your firm is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Include the DUNS number of your firm. State whether your firm is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov and/or the VetBiz Registry at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. If not, please NOTE that any future solicitation could only be awarded to a contractor who is registered in SAM; in order to receive award based on VOSB or SDVOSB status you must be registered in the VetBiz Registry. A signed letter from manufacturer on company letterhead that notes the commitment of supply sufficient to meet the Government requirements of a five year contract for the duration of the contract and states the product name, brand, part number. Approximate anticipated needs by product, per year are: Dry & Store Dry Dome 2,770 units Desiccant Dry Caddy 9,312 units Dry & Store Global II 3,168 units Desiccant Brick Dri Aid 3PCS 235 cases Dry & Store Zephyr 1,871 units These totals are an estimate only and are subject to change when a solicitation is issued.
