- SOW Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 2017-Q-66774 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement as stated on the below SOW. Please either provide a quote containing a list of line item number(s) and items, quantities, units of measure, and options, if applicable: CLIN 0001: Total Price Development of a Finite Difference Coal Mine Model Generator $ (All work shall be performed in accordance with the below Statement of Work (SOW)) Your quote shall include the following: • Total Price for the effort • Capabilities in accordance with the Statement of Work and Evaluation Factors Period of Performance: The Government estimated that a 3-month period of performance is necessary for this requirement, however, the Government is open to and invites Vendors to propose a period of performance that is in accordance with their quote and experience. Delivery Address: National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health, 626 Cochran's Mill Rd. Pittsburgh PA 15236 The quote format is at the discretion of the offeror. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet at website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-85 (February 26, 2016). This acquisition is set aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541712 and small business size standard 1,000 employees. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing to the successful offeror. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management. To register apply via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
