- Packet. The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award for the provision of Tack Coating and distribution truck for the Federal Correctional Center Otisville, located in Otisville, New York. The government will be applying the Tack Coating. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract. The contract type is a requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. The estimated number of Tack Coating gallons is 8,100 and use of a distributor truck for approximately 16 days at 8 hours per day. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on May 10, 2017 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is May 18th, 2017 at 11am EST. All Quotes must be submitted electronically to j1bird@bop.gov or the secondary point of contact for this solicitation. The solicitation will be set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 324121 with a size standard of 500 employees. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
