Description
The U.S. Forest Service has a road paving/repair requirement (AG-9AB5-S-17-0071). The project is located on the Trail of 100 Giants in a sensitive Redwood grove and meadow area. This project includes repairing asphalt surface (estimated 16 tons of asphalt) and repairing 400 feet of the associated dike. Project would also include removing replaced asphalt from site. Contractor shall, without additional expense to the government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, permits, which comply with any federal, State and municipal laws, codes and regulations applicable to the performance of the work. The project is located on the Trail of 100 Giants in a sensitive Redwood grove and meadow area. TULE RIVER RANGER DISTRICT; 32588 HIGHWAY 190; SPRINGVILLE CA 93265-9726 Project is set-aside for small business firms. Applicable NAICS code is 237310. To be considered a small business firm, average annual receipts should not exceed $36.5 million. Project magnitude is less than $25,000. Construction period is 30 calendar days from issuance of the NTP. The solicitation package will be published on or about May 26, 2017. The date of award is expected to be within 30 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. Basis for award will be "Lowest-Priced, Technically- Acceptable." The lowest priced offeror will receive the award if considered to be technically acceptable. If not considered technically acceptable, the next lowest priced offeror will be evaluated until the lowest priced offeror is identified that is considered technically acceptable to receive award. To be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must submit the following information with their proposal for evaluation: 1. Relevant Past Performance 2. Relevant Experience 3. Price To be considered for award, interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) must be completed at this same website.
