- J&A Statutory Authority: FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source Contract Award Date: July 7, 2017 Synopsis: I.Purpose/Description This announcement constitutes a Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Washington, DC. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii), CFPB intends to award a logical follow-on, sole source contract to Experian Information Solutions, Inc. 1410 K Street NW, Suite 501 Washington, DC 20005 Consumer Credit Information support. The contract will consist of a 12 month base period, four (4)12 month option periods, and one (1) six (6) month option period to be procured on a firm fixed price basis. This contract will provide Consumer Credit Information support which is currently provided under contract TPD-CFP-12-C-0016 by Experian. The information provided includes de-identified credit record data for 5 million consumers and their co-borrowers which if reformatted by a difference source would result in substantial duplication of efforts by CFPB in analyzing and adjusting the data for use within the current CFPB database.. No solicitation documents are available, however parties who believe they are capable of fulfilling this requirement are encouraged to submit a statement of capabilities to Contracting Officer Catherine Palmer by email at Catherine.palmer@cfpb.gov. Statements received within 15 calendar days (29 May 2017) by 3:00 PM (Eastern Time), will be considered by CFPB. The Government will not recognize any costs associated with submission of information in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. See numbered note 22.
