Description

SYNOPSIS: The VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHCS) has an EMERGENCY requirement to INSTALL New Wires & Breaker, Building 5A at the VALBHCS located at 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach CA 90822. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award is anticipated. A certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, parts, tools, supervision, services, and expertise necessary to install new cables / wires and breaker as required by the solicitation request and statement of work. Work will be performed in/around an operational hospital environment, which will remain operational during the project duration. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on/about May 12, 2017 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will search for solicitation VA262-17-Q-0929 to access solicitation documents and any issued amendments. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. Only electronic email quotes will be accepted. Only one (1) organized Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk / Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00AM local with interested participants meeting at Gas Pumps near Building 5C. NAICS: 238210; Small Business Size Standard: $15 Million; Project Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract Period of Performance will be five (5) Calendar Days from receipt of purchase order contract award. Bidders must be registered, certified and current with the Center for Verification Excellence (CVE), Vendor Information Pages (VIP), and System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). The single source of entry for all outgoing documentation / information pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov. Telephone, email, and fax requests for a solicitation package / information will not be accepted.
