- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT EXTENSION using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-5 -- Authorized or Required by Statute. The Department of Emergency Services, Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland has a requirement to continue off-site software preventative maintenance on an existing emergency response system, brand name InterAct e-911, from 1 June 2017 through 30 November 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price, six month extension on a sole source basis to E-9 Corporation, a registered Service Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This firm is the original and sole distributor capable of providing the required brand name InterAct preventative maintenance; and is the only source authorized to provide the required maintenance in the United States. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the business size standard is $38.5M.
