- This is a sources sought request for potential vendors to respond to this requirement to determine the market for Air Ambulance Services (fixed wing) for the Eastern Kansas Health Care System at Leavenworth and Topeka KS located at: 3450 S. 4th Street Leavenworth, KS 66048 2200 Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622 The contractor shall provide Air Ambulance Services (fixed wing) between the Eastern Kansas VA Medical Centers (EKHCS) and various medical facilities outside of the local area. In the case of organ transplant patients, transportation may originate from an airport near the Veteran s address. All work related to this contract must be performed by the Contractor in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), U.S. Department of Transportation, or Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, as well as applicable State health and safety regulations, health care accreditation standards (Joint Commission or equivalent accreditation organization) and standard industry practices as defined by the Association of Air Medical Services for air ambulance transportation. Contractor shall provide socioeconomic status and classification (SDVOSB, SB, VOSB, etc.) The NAICS Code is 621910 and the small business size standard is $15.0 Million. All interested vendors should provide a response before 2:00 p.m. CST 19 May 2017
