Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hazardous Waste Removal Service of the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for Hazardous Waste Removal Services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for hazardous waste categorization, reporting, consulting, packaging, (including lab packing) transporting, and disposal of RCRA hazardous, non-hazardous and universal waste generated from the: Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina),Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center (401 Moye Blvd, Greenville, NC 27834), Brier Creek Dialysis Clinic (8081 Arco Corporate Drive, Suite 130 Raleigh, NC 27617), Hillandale Road Clinics I and II (1824 Hillandale Road Durham, NC 27705), Morehead City Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (5420 Highway 70 Morehead City, NC 28557), Raleigh II, Outpatient Clinic (3040 Hammond Business Place Suite 105 Raleigh, NC 27603), Raleigh I, Outpatient Clinic (3305 Sungate Blvd Raleigh, NC 27610), Raleigh III CBOC (2600 Atlantic Ave Suite 200 Raleigh, NC 27604). A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-17-Q-0881 will be issued on or about May 12, 2017. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is June 1, 2017 (or date of award) through May 31,2018 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 562211 Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $10.5 million. The classification code is F107. The solicitation will be issued as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set-aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
