- This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Part 5.2 and 36.213-2 This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is set aside 100% for a woman owned small business. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 236210 with a size standard of $36.5M. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM), contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. The objective of this project is to Repair Hangar 16; Project Number TYMX150023, JBSA-Randolph, TX. General Scope of Work: Renovate Hangar 16 on JBSA - Randolph, TX. Relocated entire existing tire shop which includes fence, HVAC, plumbing system, compressed air pipe, electrical systems, etc. from the North side of the hangar to the South side. Abate Lead Paint on existing wall on East and West sides, cover up the existing windows on both sides of the walls and paint with base egg shell white color; demo the existing HVAC system and replace with new HVAC system that can accommodate existing offices on the first and second floor. Renovate existing restrooms with 4 stalls, 2 urinals in the Men's Restroom and 4 stalls in the Women's Restroom. Construct new unisex shower. Relocate ceiling fan from the North side to the South side. Open door way from Production Office to Tool Room. Add data receptacles and fire alarm devices in the existing liquid oxygen room to convert it to shared office. Provide additional ventilation in Pneudraulic Room. Move the hoist from the North side to South side. Provide additional eyewash station on the Southwest wall. Refurbish hangar floor (buff and seal) and paint the walk way. The 502D Contracting Squadron, JBSA-Randolph, TX intends to award a contract with a 265 calendar day period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FBO website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. No collect calls or facsimile transmissions will be accepted. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement.
