Description
Sources Sought Notification THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This is NOT a request for quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to seek out interested small businesses capable of fulfilling service requirement. The MCI-East Contracts Department and Safety Department, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina are performing market research to determine available sources that can provide: INTROUCTION. The Marine Corps Installations East- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Safety Department manages the Traffic Safety Program. The Traffic Safety Program is responsible for providing motor vehicle safety for personnel assigned to MCB Camp Lejeune and its tenant commands. The traffic safety program objective is to establish and maintain motor vehicle driving skills, habits, and behavior to reduce injuries and fatalities that negatively impact military readiness. SCOPE. The Contractor will provide a readily accessible source of robust training programs to include basic and advanced motorcycle safety classes, and driver improvement classes at locations aboard Camp Lejeune, to include Camp Johnson. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The anticipated period of performance is: 28 June 2017 - 30 September 2017 $ESTCOST CLINs0001-0004 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE. The places of performance will be aboard MCB, Camp Lejeune, at the motorcycle training range next to Building 58 and the motorcycle training range located on Camp Johnson. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall provide training for Basic Rider Course, Advanced Rider Course, and Alive at 25. Contractor shall supply all materials, equipment, instruction, travel expenses, and shipping to fully complete the requirement of this contract. Training shall be in accordance with Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and Automobile Association of America (AAA) curriculum. All Contractor's instructors shall be certified, qualified, and presently have the appropriate credentials in accordance with the curriculum program requirements. Basic Rider Course 12 students approx. 36 classes Advanced Rider Course 12 students approx. 36 classes Driver Improvement Course 30 students approx. 3 classes Travel Expenses for 3 months 4 instructors The applicable NAICS code is 611692 Automobile Driving Schools, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million. In addition, interested vendors shall provide the following information : (1) Is your business a large or small business under this NAICS code? (2) If the size standard is small, indicate if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, HubZone certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Small Business. (3) Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? If so, please provide contract number. (4) These services been acquired by any government agencies? If so, please provide names of agencies, POCs and contract numbers. (5) Cage Code and DUNS Number.
