CA 9, mod 9, 051217 Fire Plan Drawings Project Specs AG-9AC7-S-17-0038 **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 21, 2017. Actual posting date is dependent on weather and site conditions. Description: Work includes surveying, clearing, excavation, removing, and disposing of existing culverts, providing borrow and riprap, dewatering, providing erosion and sediment control devices, installing multi-plate single radius arches, installing stream simulation rocks, reconditioning and repair of existing roads, and all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the work. The project work involves removal of existing culverts, installation of multi-plate single radius arches and reconstruction of the stream bed. This work includes but is not limited to: Miller Ravine: Install 16'-0" span x 7'-1" rise MULTI-PLATE single radius arch on footings Rock Creek: Install 11'-0" span x 3'-6" rise MULTI-PLATE single radius arch on footings Water Creek: Install 10'-0" span x 3'-6" rise MULTI-PLATE single radius arch on footings Location: Miller Ravine, Forest Road 26N08 & Water Creek, Forest Road 26N08 The project is located on Forest Road 26N08. From Chester, drive west on Highway 36 to the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 89. Turn left on Highway 89 and head south for approximately 4.25 miles. From Highway 89, head west on County Road 308 (also known as Forest Road 27N04, with a sign for "Yellow Creek Campground" posted along Highway 89). Continue on this road for approximately 11.2 miles until you reach the "Four Corners" intersection. From the "Four Corners" intersection, head south on Forest Road 26N08. The Miller Ravine site is approximately 1.2 miles south of the "Four Corners" intersection, and is also located on Forest Road 26N08. The Water Creek site is approximately 0.1 miles south of the "Four Corners" intersection. Rock Creek, Forest Road 26N35 The project is located on Forest Road 26N35. From Chester, drive west on Highway 36 to the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 89. Turn left on Highway 89 and head south for approximately 4.25 miles. From Highway 89, head west on County Road 308 (also known as Forest Road 27N04, with a sign for "Yellow Creek Campground" posted along Highway 89). Continue on this road for approximately 11.2 miles until you reach the "Four Corners" intersection. From "Four Corners", head west on County Road 307 (also known as the Humbug Road) for approximately 5.0 miles. Turn left on Forest Road 26N35. The Rock Creek site is located approximately 0.1 miles south of the County Road 307/26N35 junction. Price Range: $250,000 - $500,000 Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2017. Set-Aside: THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED AS HUBZONE SET ASIDE. Bonds: A Bid guarantee is required with the offer. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to proposal submission.
