Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Yorktel TeleCom Corp., for the expansion of the Kansas Cities VAMC TeleICU to their PCU units. This is a continuation of the original 15 units that were procured under VISN 23 Virtual ICU that included VISN 23, 20, and 15. The Audio/Visual equipment uses bi-directional communication from each bedside to the virtual ICU core that is co located at the Minneapolis VAHCS, Iowa City VAHCS, and Hines VA. These units need to be able to interface with the Phillips proprietary Tele ICU software (eCareManager) The NAICS code is 517911 with a Classification Code of 7035 This is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability packages no later than 10:00 a.m. CDT, May 16th, 2017 to larry.zaritz@va.gov Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response to this notice. The Government reserves the right to use the information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
