Description

The Naval Special Warfare Command intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Applied Imagery, 5425 Wisconsin Avenue, Chev Chase, MD. 20815 to provide training of the Quick Terrain Modeler software. The software was previously purchased and is currently in use within system infrastructure. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)13.106-1 (b)(1)(i) "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available" Applied Imagery is the developer and sole distributer of Quick Terrain Modeler software and the only ones authorized to provide training on their software products. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not notify respondents of the results of the information received. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement, proposal or quotation. Response can be email to NSWK02@socom.mil. All responses must be received no later than 8:00 am, May 15 2017. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor.
