- Description
- Award Notice Nature and Description: The contractor shall perform independent planning and management of group meetings for research staff at the Center for Clinical Management Research (CCMR) and the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation (IHPI), of which CCMR is a member institution. The purpose of the meetings is to foster research activities in support of the mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the mission of IHPI, to improve the quality, safety, equity and affordability of healthcare services. Specific tasks shall include planning tasks, finance tasks, and supervision tasks. Planning tasks shall include establishment of a calendar for all activities, forecasting 12-24 months in advance, communications and publicity, preparation and distribution of surveys assessing satisfaction with events and analysis of results. Finance tasks shall include management of a global budget for seminars and events, management of purchases, coordination with VA non-profit research corporation and preparing/presentation of budget status and projection reports to CCMR director. Supervision tasks shall include supervision of logistics for meetings including travel, space planning, vendor procurement, maintenance of CME documentation, registration sign-up, site set-up, supervision of CCMR s communications assistant, and recruitment/coordination of staff volunteer teams before large meetings. Contractor shall have access to University of Michigan SchedulOn system, access to other University of Michigan schedulers, and be a University of Michigan Purchase Cardholder.
